Crates for Ukraine - Information

Since partnering with Mission to the World (MTW) and the MTW Ukraine team to fly over six crates of aid last summer, the deacons have prayerfully looked for additional ways to support the church in Ukraine.  We were excited when MTW opened up a winter edition of the Crates for Ukraine initiative.  As a reminder,  the MTW Ukraine Lviv team are partnering with US churches to provide personal and humanitarian aid to displaced communities in Ukraine.  MTW has asked for churches and groups to collect, pack and deliver aid to Chattanooga or Dallas. It will then be shipped to the Crisis Response Team in Lviv, Ukraine and then distributed through the network of presbyterian reformed churches in Ukraine.

Over the next couple of weeks, there will be several ways that you can participate.

1. Pray

  • Continue to pray for the church in Ukraine, the Crates for Ukraine work and our brother's and sister's in Christ.

2. Give to the Deacons Fund

  • We will move our regularly scheduled February Diaconal Offering to January 29. If you are able, we encourage you to give during this offering. In the memo line, please mark "Deacons Offering - Crates for Ukraine ".

3. Purchase Supplies and Bring Them Into the Church

  • MTW has specifically identified a list of requested supplies. As you purchase the appropriate supplies, please purchase directly from the link below. If the specific item is unavailable, please make sure to purchase equivalent items. The last day to bring in supplies is Sunday, February 19th.
